Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Rise Media LLC, operating under the Ryan S. Howard brand (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates RyanSHoward.com and HowToGrowYourFaith.com. This policy describes how personal information is handled when you visit these websites, request resources, subscribe to email, contact us, or participate in podcast-related activities.
This policy does not govern independently operated websites reached through links, including social networks, podcast platforms, and Ascender Partners. Their own privacy notices apply to information they collect.
Information you provide
Subscriptions and free resources. Signup forms request your name or first name and email address to provide the resource or email content you request.
Contact and speaking inquiries. Contact forms request your first name, email address and inquiry type, together with any message you choose to provide. Please avoid including confidential or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your inquiry.
Podcast participation. The configured podcast guest intake form requests a guest name, email address, phone number for the guest or PR contact, release-related information, and optional biography, topics, suggested questions, or interview goals. Separate guest releases govern permission to record and use an interview.
Voice messages. Where a SpeakPipe voice-message feature is available, if you choose to use it and allow microphone access, the service processes the voice message and information you submit with it.
Information collected through technology
When a browser connects to our websites or third-party content, technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, the requested page, and request timing can be transmitted to the service receiving the connection.
RyanSHoward.com uses Google Analytics through MonsterInsights to measure website use, including page visits, scrolling, downloads and link interactions. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers.
Google reCAPTCHA is present on WordPress forms to help detect abuse. YouTube videos and thumbnails, SpeakPipe, and other embedded content connect to their providers and may use cookies or similar technologies. Some YouTube players load after interaction; this does not mean all third-party requests or cookies are blocked before interaction.
How information is used
Information submitted through these features is used to deliver requested lead magnets, email courses, newsletters and related email communications; respond to questions and speaking inquiries; coordinate podcast participation; operate and maintain the websites; measure content use; and help prevent spam and abuse.
Email subscriptions and external resource signups
The RyanSHoward.com homepage does not collect newsletter subscriptions directly. Its Faith Upgrade button takes you to HowToGrowYourFaith.com, a separate Carrd-built website that collects your first name and email address and handles the resource signup and fulfillment. Other signup and contact forms exist elsewhere on RyanSHoward.com.
We use email-service providers, including Kit, to process subscription information and deliver email communications. This processing supports the emails and resources you request; it is different from providing an email list to advertisers for their own marketing.
You can unsubscribe from subscription emails using their unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent replies to an inquiry you initiate or other necessary non-marketing communications.
Service providers and other disclosures
The websites rely on providers for website delivery, forms, email, analytics, spam prevention and embedded media. These include Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA and YouTube), SpeakPipe, Kit and Carrd. GoDaddy-branded website delivery and traffic scripts are present on RyanSHoward.com. Some existing pages also load AWeber form code and RefTagger Bible-reference functionality.
Providers receive information needed for the features they supply, and some also process information under their own privacy policies. For Google’s explanation, see how Google uses information from partner sites.
We do not sell subscriber information or intentionally share email lists with advertisers for their own marketing purposes. We do not use Meta Pixel or Google Ads remarketing, and we do not upload email subscriber lists to advertising platforms. Ordinary processing by email-service providers, such as Kit, enables email delivery and subscription management; it does not mean we provide subscriber lists to advertisers for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
Cookies, embedded content, and your choices
Our websites and the third-party features described above may use cookies or similar technologies. You can use browser settings to block or remove cookies and restrict third-party content. This may affect forms, login features or embedded media. Google also provides a Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on.
A browser’s private mode does not necessarily prevent providers from receiving connection information. Third-party platforms offer their own privacy and cookie settings, which apply when you use their services.
Retention
Retention needs differ for inquiries, subscriptions, podcast records, analytics and security records. Relevant considerations include the purpose for which information was collected, the status of a request or subscription, applicable legal requirements, and the need to document permissions or honor an unsubscribe request.
You may contact us to ask about information associated with you or to request deletion. Unsubscribing stops subscription emails; it does not necessarily delete all associated records, including records needed to honor an unsubscribe request.
Data security and international processing
No website, email service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, financial account details or other unnecessary sensitive information through general contact forms.
The providers described in this policy process information in connection with their services. Their processing and storage locations may differ from the country where you live. Their privacy notices explain their own practices.
Privacy requests and applicable rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to our activities, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Some rights may be subject to exceptions and identity verification. Where applicable, you may also have a right to complain to a privacy regulator.
To make a request, contact us at the address below and describe the information or activity involved and the email address used with us. Please do not send identification documents unless a secure and necessary verification method has been agreed.
